Amor no es un sentimiento; es un abilidad.

Love isn't a feeling; it's an ability. ~That Marty kid from DAN IN REAL LIFE
Some people got it some people don't. I definitely got it.

So, how exciting was it---my thwarting my exes spy tactics yesterday.

***A note about that: Just FYI...my computer tracks visitors. It will list them by country. So if one comes up from China...I know who it is...If one comes up from Canada...I know who it is...and so on and so forth. You get the idea. So if you have a spy in another country, it is much easier for me to identify...It's like a huge red bow on their head. 'Mkay. That's all.

This will not excite you, but I'm excited. I've been sporting the curly hair for suuuuccchhh a loooonngg time now. FiFi is going for a haircut today. And going straight. Not heterosexual or anything...just the hair will be straight/heterosexual. Sorry, if I skeered ya.

So, I have been thinking about my options right now. It seems like a lotta people are pushing for me to get back into a monogamous relationship. I think if it happens, it happens. But I will tell you, 95% of my friends are single. And being out on Saturday night, the freedom, the wind blowing, and lalala, made me remember how much fun I used to have as a single gal. And as yet, I haven't really been around in the lesbian community that much...so maybe FiFi should have fun for awhile. So...a low-key no frills relationship with someone who has their own life and will allow me to have mine...may possibly work. But I'm not gonna expect someone to bow to my wishes. But...I'm thinking this sorta compromise shouldn't be a problem.

Holla! I must be doing supa dupa well...cuz I allowed my ipod to wander away from "I Kissed A Girl" and "Hot n Cold" on the Katy Perry cd...and I found this song "I'm Still Breathing". And it's about suicide/break up and I think it's so pretty. I love it.

Maybe I'm nutz...here are the lyrics...

I leave the gas on Walk the allies in the dark Sleep with candles burning I leave the door unlocked I'm weaving a rope and Running all the red lights Did I get your attention Cause I'm sending All the signs and The clock is ticking And I'll be giving My 2 weeks Pick your favorite Shade of black You'd bestPrepare a speech Say something funny Say something sweet But don't say That you loved me Cause I'm still breathing Though we've been Dead for awhile This sickness has no cure We're goin down for sure Already lost a grip Best abandon ship Maybe I was too pale Maybe I was too fat Maybe you wanted better Better luck off in the sack No formal education And I swore way too much But I swear You didn't fucking care Cause we were in love So as I write this letter And she'd my last tear No, it's all for the better That we end this this year Let's close this chapter Say one last prayer But don't say That you loved me...

I Kissed A Girl And I Liked It...oh yeah...and also because I'm a lezbertarian!!

I have not a single clue where to begin...I did forget to tell you that on Wednesday when I went to pick up my familia at Penn Station I saw Kiefer Sutherland. He was leaning up against a car in front of Penn. He looks just like he does on TV, but my cousin-in-law says he seems a lot shorter than on TV.

Also, on Sunday when we were walking through Union Squarish area we saw Dylan McDermott. He looked HOT in his leather jacket and aviator shades. Um...Dylan those shades certainly didn't fool me. He seemed like he was pissed and hated the world tho...maybe because he wasn't being stopped by fans...shrugs.

My family was in town in town since last Wednesday. My cousin and her husband have a b-e-a-utiful five month old baby darlin'. She is the sweetness even though she puked on me a few times. I did quite a bit of touristy shizz...such as...Oyster Bar...Grand Central Station...Fifth Avenue...and Chinatown. Yes...my cousin actually got me to Canal Street. And it was a blast. I decided that I wanted to go into one of those back rooms...you know the ones. Lemme tell you bout how that went. Of course, anytime you walk down Canal millions of little Chinese ladies whisper "Gucci. Prada. Coach. Louis. Chanel." at you. So, we found a cute little lady and decided to follow her. She led us off Canal and down a side street, where at this time another little Chinese lady picked us up and took us down another side street. She led us to a store. We went inside. And to the back of the store. Through a curtain. Through a moveable wall. Down a hall. Through another door. And through....ahhhh....the looking glass. Floor to ceiling. Stacked. Anything you wanted...could think of. It was zen. I picked a bag. Which I assume to be real and obtained by means that I do not wish to associate myself with :-). Paid my chump change...and was on my way. Me thinks I'll be down there again. It was too fun.

Oh and ps...while we were in there this other place on Canal got busted big time by a whole lotta cops that burst out of a stretch limo. Phew! That was close.

And then...On Saturday night, I went to celebrate one of my BFFs birthdays. We had a lovely group dinner at a lovely restaurant in Park Slope. Then, it was off to Cattyshack with the entourage. We blew that place up. I persuaded so many peeps to get Long Island Iced Teas...they need to pay me commission. Needless to say, we were all preeeettyyy much TRASHED. Well, when you hear what I did later, you will know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I sure as hell was...heeheehee.

Allow me to give you my beverage rundown for the evening. I cannot attest to anyone elses, but my own...but I think we all did about the same damage to our livers that night. Okay here goes: Two mango-tinis (at dinner). A Long Island. Two shots of Patron. Two beers. Two cranberry/vodkas. Yes...I know...you are thinking WOWOWOWOW!!! I maintained a good appearance of sobriety (yeah right) for most of the evening.

I should also say that I was going for my butch look. Stop laughing. I mean it. Well, you and everybody else were right. Even though I wear a shirt with a tie (most people said they thought it was a scarf of some sort...GEESH) I suppose I can NEVER be butch. Some expert butches told me so. If you're on my Facebook you should most definitely check out the picture of me dancing with a new friend who had my "tie" in her mouth. I think it's pretty butch. You can definitely see I'm the dominant one. Okay...so I danced my azz off...drank my azz off...oh and I almost forgot... the funniest story eva. So let's just say I was talking with Friend A and Friend B. Friend B was wearing a skirt. She lifted her leg and rested her foot on the bench. I said "What are you doing? Airing it out?" HAHAHAHAHA And she said "Yeah. Get a good whiff!" HAHAHAHAHA. Yeah...she was trashed too. I can also confirm this because everytime I would say anything even things like "This place smells like cheese." She would smile...squint....and nod...VERRRYYY SLOOOWWWLLY. I love you Friend B. May I offer my special thanks to the Birthday Girl. You fucking rock!!!!

So...somewhere around nearly 4ish AM...my new best friend got me into a cab. And here is where I'll say that I most definitely should've hoe'd it up (aka- Hopped on the good foot and done the bad thing) and not gone home to my apartment. Cuz I had a quite a few snafoos there. So...but anyway...I had a lovely conversation with the cab driver about how I like "coochie bird" and not weiners. Do not use the term "coochie bird" until you pay me my royalties first. I created it. It's mine.

So. I went home. I will give you a very brief rundown. Most of this is shit I heard about the next day when I rolled my ass outta bed. I had to pee really bad. I thought I was being quiet. Apparantly, I burst through the door to my apartment with quite some force and ran like hell to the bathroom. Giggling all the way. Yes...you guessed it. I woke up my coz and her hubby...but thankfully not the baby. So I came out of the bathroom. Stripped to my undies...yes even the bra...I was trying to hide my boobies with my arm...I heard that it actually looked like I was just resting my arm above the boobies. Yes...they got a lovely show. So, I got dressed in the bathroom...and came out to find my coz (aka-mom) standing in the kitchen doorway looking at me like the bad little girlie I was. We proceeded to go to the bathroom and over one cigarette (approximately 5-10 mins) I speedtalked the entire evening to her. Then I went and passed out. Yeah...I heard about most of this the next day...including a few details that I will just leave out and spare myself a shred of dignity.

My fingers are mucho tired now. If I think of anything else...I'll letcha know. Mkay. Peace.

Hey There Nancy Drew

***Edited!!! So. If you want a laugh...go read the "Anonymous" comment on Fuck! I fell in love with a crazy person. And then read the "Anonymous" comment on this post.

Lesson #1: Don't fuck with FiFi.

Lesson #2: Don't trust evil liars. Once a liar, always a liar. Good always prevails.

Lesson #3: Maybe it's better to MYOFB. Especially, if you have no clue what you're talking 'bout and your main source of information is a fucking liar.

Have a GREAT DAY!!!

Let It Rain

fjidaopidjfpaoijfapjifa....I am sitting in my chair... bouncing desperately for the friggin clock to tick five. I wanna go out and play ;-)

This weekend should be very interesting... we shall see I guess. And I will finally get to see some of my friends. I'm feeling bad about the many "STOP BEING MIA" texts, phone calls, and Comments. I'm terribly sorry that other biznass has kept my butt occupied.

I'm not absolutely certain (but I'm pretty sure) that nothing will top last weekends hijinx. If you got to see the blurry drunken scoreboard from my strawberry mudslide sliding, shot guzzling, beer chugging game of BOWLING you will know how well I faired. Let's just say that lil Mizz FiFi won a very s-p-e-c-i-a-l prize. Oh and there was skeeball and corvette driving and competitive dancing and wave riding and carousel round and round...heeheehee... Miss Person That Got Me Wasted And Tried To Take Advantage Of Me (you know who you are)... we will always have that carousel. We were most definitely being bad little kiddies... we maybe sorta possibly most likely absolutely should've gotten thrown out... thank goodness we made friends with that dude who worked there.

Peace my peeps! Have an awesome vvvveeeeeekend.

Fuck! I Fell In Love With A Crazy Person (The Whole Sha-bang)

I have decided to share this story in its entirety, despite physical threats from my ex. I had agreed to remove some things, but as I see it now, they are integral to the story. And give her what small amount of sympathy she deserves. I was unsure about doing this. I felt confident that it would be okay. But after my mother told me not to dare let her shake me...I decided that this was best. I was told to write this so that I could understand every aspect of what happened with us. And I was encouraged to publish it for all eyes in the offchance someone with a similar situation may stumble upon it and realize that they may also be a victim of abuse. Despite the fact that she thinks I'm trying to punish her by doing this, actually, she needs to wake up and realize the world does not revolve around her. (She needs to listen to that Carly Simon song YOU'RE SO VAIN). I did it for myself. To help myself and to help me get better. IT IS ABOUT ME NOW. I use no names...not even my own. The people that actually know me have heard the story from my lips and already know she's scum. The strangers that see it...have not a single clue who the fuck she is. So there. And if there is a bone in my body that is out for revenge. So be it. You did these things. I am just speaking them. If you are ashamed of who you are, you should get help.

Here you are...

One Friday night, my heart was ripped through my chest and shoved up my ass. No...this is not a joke...unfortunately. Here's how it goes....they tell me if I write it...peace will come. I've started to feel a little better already.

I went to a bar with my friends. I had such a shitty week and really wanted to relax with my friends. My girlfriend (although she usually refused to call me that) wandered in a little while later. We were both surprised to see each other. We had been fighting a little before, and we were supposed to have a night off. Well...God must've been planning on this one. Allow me to give a little history to this relationship before I reveal the fantastic ending.

I have spent over a year in my life in a relationship filled with emotional, physical, verbal abuse, as well as cheating. I have gone through it all. I am not without blame. I made every single choice to stay with her despite the mass disapproval of my friends. I have not been perfect. She cheated on me the first time (that I know of) last Thanksgiving. I knew that one of her old flames was going out with her. I was uneasy. The day after she called me and told me that this girl had spent the night but nothing happened. I felt very uneasy. When I returned, on the advice of someone who cares, I looked at her cellphone. Aha! She sent a very dirty text message to this girl that she "DIDNT" sleep with?!?!?! I confronted her. She begged my forgiveness, and despite the fact that we were already strained due to the fact that for the first few months of our relationship she still fucked her ex-girlfriend on a weekly basis, I forgave her. I did not, however, forget. A few days later she asked me to move in with her. Primarily out of convenience since, her latest roommate (ps she is currently on her fifth roommate in less than a year) was moving out and she needed someone fast who could live with her. I loved her, despite everything working against it, and agreed to take the plunge.

It was pretty much traumatic from the beginning. I always looked at this relationship through some really fucked up positive and pretty stupid eyeballs. I refused to see that she was some sort of -path (whether psycho or socio I'm not sure). Sure, she was transgendered and suffered a lot of trauma from that. Sure, she was physically abused from childhood. She had the "pity me" going for her from the start. So, me being me, I tried and tried to save her. Tried and tried to make her happy. Tried so many different things and still she was suffering so I was suffering. I should probably interject here that I'm somewhat sure that the fact that I was sexually molested as a child played a part in accepting the abuse as normal and allowed her to so easily lower my self esteem. Oh and PS...This didn't qualify me for the "pity me."

Not to say that there weren't happy times. Even in more recent months our relationship did get a little better. I'll tell you why in a minute. So, I put up with all of the shit for a long time...despite my friends begging me to leave. And then here I am living with her. Let's just say a month after we moved in together, she dumped me. She decided at that time it was time in her trans phase to date gay men. She pursued that to it's end a little while later with no luck. Needless to say, I was devastated. And here I was living with her. It was rocky, but I agreed to stay after she wrote me a heartfelt letter which I now see as pure bullshit. This is someone who for Valentine's Day bought me the book EAT PRAY LOVE so that I could get better from it. The inscription was that this book was from the person who took everything from me. HER!! She knew it then. Scum.

At the end of February, it was time to celebrate my birthday. All of my friends were meeting up to celebrate with me. At one point in the evening, she started dancing with a friend of mine. (Note: She had wanted to celebrate my birthday with me and was there as my date.) She was acting sort of inappropriate with my friend (I feel to make me jealous). I could tell that my friend was mortified and uncomfortable, but a non-assertive person to stand up for herself. (She's such a sweetheart. I'm sure she didn't want me to get hurt. Too late.) So, the night was ruined, and later on back at the apartment, my ex changed into one of her other personalities and was trying to be sweet and sleep with me. Of course, I was pissed, and this turned into a vicious, vicious fight. (I will say here that at this point I did sort of freak out, start yelling about how could she do that to me...and blah blah blah...she tried to make me stop. I did not stop. I was so angry.) At this point, she snapped, and blow by blow I felt her fists pounding into me. Her fingers around my throat. It was awful. The next day we cried together not knowing what happened. And here I accepted half of the blame for this fight.

In therapy later that week, my counselor told me I had to move out. He told me that there was no excuse for physical violence...no matter what I said, did, or how I acted. I had a hard time agreeing with him. I was so far into this hole of a relationship...and I had not one single breadcrumb. My counselor suggested, at this point, it may be necessary to seek some pharmaceutical assistance. That I was at a point where it would be very difficult to get up. So, I began taking Wellbutrin (behind the girlfriend's back...she hated pills...even though she needed them more desperatly than me.) I managed to pull myself together, find an apartment, and then tell her. I didn't tell her at the start because I didn't want her to try to convince me to stay again. When I told her I was moving she flipped. I ended up paying for rent in two apartments in April, but I am so happy I did it.

So...I moved out. I moved out and then started dating her again. Yes...now you're saying...you asked for this...and I did. I did. At this point she had screwed her ex...cheated on me with another ex...asked me to live with her...broke up with me...wanted to date gay men...and beat the living shit outta me. And, yes, I chose to stay. A few weeks later, another fight ensued. I should say that at this point I was less docile and began to stand up for myself more and more. (Which she saw as accusatory and completely insane behavior.) She thought that I questioned her to death about everything, that I suspected her, made her explain everything, that I didn't trust her. Which I should confess, I didn't. And I'm sure you are saying to yourself...WHY WOULD/SHOULD YOU TRUST HER? Yes, you are right. I should've walked away at this point...and I nearly did. The fight continued for the entire day. And into the night. We met later for a play and she made a complete fool out of me in front of her roommate. She treated me like a dog...less than a dog.

Here's my problem. I fall very easily prey to manipulation. On this night, she told me things my worst enemy would not tell me. So...I went home...cried (while she went out clubbing--and probably fucking). The next day she started calling...then she showed up at my apartment. I wasn't there to answer the door. She kept calling until I finally txted her back to say I DON'T WANT TO SEE YOU! At this point, she begged and begged to see me. After a few hours of this...blah blah blah... I didn't mean it... I need to see you...I need to tell you something shit, I finally agreed.

When I met with her that evening, she told me that she had felt the entire time we were together (nearly a year) that she was too good for me. That some of her friends thought I wasn't pretty enough...didn't deserve her...Nonono...I didn't throw her out at this point...because she said she SAW THE LIGHT...oh yeah...the light shining out of her ass. Ah...yes, I took her back. Yes you are now saying NONONONONO!!!! You would be echoing the sentiments of everyone I know.

I cannot say that I was entirely surprised that her shallowness had found its way to the surface. There had been talk of my weight, clothes being too big and exercising before. So...the things she had said in the past had hurt me, and I started to worry that I would lose her because there was something wrong with how I look. I'll interject that I do have self image issues, but this was the first time someone had hinted that I actually look worse than I see in my own warped mind.

Again, she promised she'd change. She would try harder, be better to me. And she did/was...sort of. She wanted to give us a shot, and of course, pathetic lap dog that I was, I jumped at the chance. YAY! I wasn't going to lose her after all. She could stomach the way I looked enough to stay. And here's where she made the seemingly honest attempt to be there for me, meet my needs and be present in the relationship. And this continued..ohhh... for about a month. For me, that was an eternity of not having to deal with the side of her of which I was afraid. For others, it was just a teensy weensy drop in the bucket.

And after that month, it went downhill very rapidly. Only two more major fights and we're up to where we are today. The first started after I confronted her about some things I noticed about the way she was treating me. Here's how it went down. I had a sinus infection and felt like shit. I had gone to bed early the night before and missed around 20 calls from her. In the morning, when I made it to work, I finally, IMed her to tell her that I was sick...and also that the way she'd been acting was bothering me. We went round and round until I explained myself...she saw what she had done (or just said she did to shut me up) and apologized. At this point, I'd heard I'm sorry from her every week for a year. So, I told her that I'm sorry just wasn't enough. At this point, she snapped, and there we were in the middle of our own personal war.

She had said she wanted some space...The space. She always pulled this. Where she wants it...gets overwhelmed. Then a few days later comes back, all over me. The cycle. Coincidentally, she told me once that she wasn't strong enough to stop and give herself the space...so it was my responsibility to evaluate when it was needed and to keep her in check. Um...can you say YEAH RIGHT. She hadn't listened to me in a year. Why would she start now? We agreed to only meet twice per week. I was resentful (not because I didn't want it or like it) mainly because I felt as though, here I am, again, being controlled and told what to do. But I agreed as usual because I was so afraid to lose her.

So, back to the fight. Now she had her usual freak out/meltdown. I apologized for telling her that her apology wasn't enough, and we took a few days away from each other.

Now, I'm going to interject and explain how these fights of ours went down. The fights ranged from small, moderate to severe and usually happened every week for the time we were together.

It would start with one of us (usually me) bringing up one of our issues. If it was her issue that she was bringing up, it was made into a big deal (because, just in case you forgot, the entire relationship was about her and her problems). If it was an issue I was bringing up, I would get one or all of the following replies: I'm sorry (on the rare occasion). OR You don't understand how I feel. You always assume things. You always nitpick. You always overreact. You always read into things.

At this point, I would begin to try to communicate to her and explain myself, which at this, she would shut down, ignore me, freak out and start screaming, walk away, leave my house or hang up the phone/turn it off. I understand now that she was an empty shell not capable of emotion. And if in fact she had a feeling, she wasn't able to express it and doesn't know how to in a healthy way, so her reaction is to flip and change personalities.

By now, I still haven't gotten my point across/a word in at all, and now she won't communicate at all. This pisses me off, and I freak out. Why do I always get cut off whenever I have something to say? Here are some thoughts that run through me when I freak: She doesn't care about me, She is going to leave me, She doesn't try, She never lets me explain myself.

On continues the fight, like a tennis ball, back and forth. For the most part, until the last two fights at least, she would eventually calm down, listen to me, hear my side, the light bulb would go off, she would understand. AHA!! FINALLY! YES! At this point everything would be fine. Fight over. When this happened, she would always tell me that if it happened again, just to remind her about what she was doing, that we'd already discussed it and worked it out, and that she would remember and she would stop. UH HUH! That worked... let's see...ohh... ZERO TIMES!!! And so... we would usually have the same fight every week. Let's compare it to Lucy in 50 FIRST DATES. Some accident had turned off her short term memory so we'd have to do it ALL over again. After a year of this, it became more and more draining for me to stand up to her and hold my own.

And that brings us to the last two fights... Her therapy ended and her therapist had told her that she always attacked herself about the issues and that's what would make her sick with migraines. When the therapist told her to stop attacking herself, she did. And the migraines stopped. YAY! That is good, right?? Um, for me, this was the worst thing that happened. Now instead of attacking herself, she attacked me, VICIOUSLY. She accepted blame for nothing, thought she was superior, that she had made this wonderful change and was on her way to becoming a healed whole person. Of course, she believed that I hadn't changed. She was doing sooo much better. Yeah fucking RIGHT!!! She had only turned from internal abuse to severe external abuse. It was the most awful experience I had. So, if the way she attacked herself all that time was the same as the way she was attacking me now, it was very easy for me to see how she became a delusional psycho with a personality disorder.

The last few weeks before the end I was on my toes. Please and thank you, very sweet and meek so as to avoid Mr. Hyde.

But, it happened again. Not really that shocking. At this point I was terrified I would loser her, worried all the time about her well-being, not thinking at all about myself. And this is where the higher power stepped in.

Like I said before, I was a a club that Friday with my firends. My girlfriend and I were having the time apart and were supposed to meet the next day. She ended up in the same club. She treated me okay. She wanted to dance. I told her that the other room was hers, to go and dance. I continued to hang with my friends. A little while later, she came back and asked why I wasn't dancing. I told her, I would, in a bit. Later when I heard a song I liked, my friends and I got up and headed for the dancefloor. When we came in, she sat down. She watched me dance. A girl sat down beside her. They talked and laughed, in a way that bothered me. My friends and I left the room. A bit later, one of my friends went to the bathroom, and when she came back, she told me not to get upset, the girl was gone. I calmed down. Later, I went to the bathroom. When I came out, my girlfriend was dancing up behind a DIFFERENT girl. I got upset again. I went and sat down. My girlfriend's roommate came to me and sat down. I was so hurt. I asked him what was going on. He said he didn't know, was surprised and didn't understand why she was doing that to me. He took me outside for a cigarette. He shared some wisdom and tried desperately to calm me down. I told him I wanted to leave. He told me to stay and not let her erratic behavior ruin my evening. TOO LATE! We went back inside, where at this point, my girlfriend was flanked with BOTH girls, talking, touching, flirting. I couldn't take it. My friends got very upset. No one could believe what she was doing to me. I had to leave. Her roommate walked us downstairs and put my friends and I into a cab. They came to my apartment and proceeded to listen and be supportive of me, as I cried and cried.

This continued for the next two and a half days. My friends came and stayed, listened, talked to me, called me constantly, tried to keep me busy and to get me to eat. On Saturday morning, I sent her a text message that it was over and for her to stay away. On Sunday morning, I got weak, began to think that maybe I had overreacted, and sent her texts and voicemails that maybe we should talk. And NOTHING 'til Monday morning. Then came the text from her reminding me that I told her it was over. I told her, yes, I said that, but I wanted to talk. That I got upset because of the way that the girls were touching her. She informed me that everyone touches her (ie...her roommate, her friends, her BOSS etc). What the fuck? I asked her how she could possibly compare her boss touching her to those girls. She sent me another text reminding me that I said it was over, and now informing me that she'd slept with someone else.

After this, email ping pong ensued, here are the basics that I got from her...

1. That she hated me, despised me, never wanted to see me again. (One of her defense mechanisms that she always used and then later begged forgiveness for, pleading that she never meant it but was only angry).

2. That I was looking for and loved my drama. That I wanted it so badly. So she decided she would give it to me. (I haven't yet figured out how my leaving the club indicated that I WANTED drama, it seems to me I was avoiding it... but again we are dealing with a crazy person).

3. That she was going to end it, that it was over before that night and so that's why she didn't care and did it. (Um...yeah... I have nothing to say. As you can see she's fucked in the head).

4. That she liked the girl in the skirt, asked her to come home with her and slept with her. (FUCKING WHORE, right? Say it with me now!!).

So, now I'm furious. She's actually blaming me for her cheating. How can it possibly be my fault? I send her an email explaining to her that she's a stupid whore etc etc. So later during the day, I get it from an unnamed source that the girl she slept with only looked good because of the skirt, and at least her skirt drew attention away from her butterface. Not being shallow myself, it didn't really make me feel better that my girlfriend had slept with an ugly girl. I was just surprised because my girlfriend was such a shallow whore. I was angry. So I sent her an email the next morning informing her that I knew she slept with butterface. She said she didn't even care what the girl looked like...that it didn't matter. That was not why she did it. (In my opinion and in the opinion of several PROFESSIONALs she was self destructive and liked and seeked to ruin everything good in her life. And that was what she had been doing for the entire year.)

I went to the doctor that day. I was having an emotional spike that the Wellbutrin wasn't helping. My girlfriend had broken me. I was the lowest of the low. Not worthy of an ounce of respect. She had broken me. And at this point, the doc wrote me a perscription for Xanax (made me promise not to swallow the whole bottle) and I was on the way to recovery. I no longer cared. Even in what some people may think was a drug haze, I could see her and what she had done to me. This put me into a rage. And a rage is a place far better than melancholy. And that was it for me, I was done.

However, that wasn't it for her. She found out after she blocked me on Facebook that I had written about how I was hurt because she cheated and that I was being blamed for it. And later she read Part One of the blog. Both times, she fired off a nasty text message letting me know how she hated me, how I was so low etc etc. All I could think was Puuuhhhllleaaasseee psychopath, get away from me, YOU DESERVE WHATEVER YOU GET.

My girlfriend always told me, I was such a good person. I was sweet and kind. That since her relationship before me was so abusive, she would now be able to get better because she was with someone good, caring, and nurturing. ME!! I became her FAITH HEALER. And, so like a leech, she attached herself to me. She sucked so much life out of me. And every time she told me to work on myself, my self esteem etc, it was because I was getting low on her medicine. The medicine of using someone to push down, knock down, treat like shit, so that she could feel better about herself. So, that she could feel like she was better. And at the end, she realized, maybe in the back of her mind, that she had broken me. There was nothing more left, and I couldn't fix myself fast enough to give her what she needed. So, she cut her losses, and left. (She never kept a single promise she made to me. But, she made me a promise that if she ever cheated on me again, she would go away. She has kept this promise.) But in the way that she is, she cannot survive without a host to live off of... so I bid good luck to the next. She has had this relationship before, she had the same relationship with me, and she will continue to have the same relationship. My doctor told me that unfortunately, having a good person around, meditating etc would never be enough. That she needed therapy multiple times a week and five different medications to regulate her personality.

As soon as I started walking away from the relationship that Monday, I started to feel better. It was like I was taking five ginormous steps away every day. It became slightly overwhelming to see the big picture. I became and am still slightly upset that I allowed this to happen to me. All that time I was so afraid that I would die without her (now I get to actually live), I was so afraid, and now that I am out, I see how simple and easy and relatively painless the whole thing was. All that fear for nothing. Couple that fear with her begging me to take her back, using her excellent skills of charm by manipulation and control, made it harder.

She has treated me like shit. And as I have heard her speak negatively, disrespectfully, and degradingly about EVERY SINGLE person she knows (and my friends as well), she may have a lot to say. I'm sure she's so happy to be rid of me. The nightmare that she couldn't live without. The nightmare that she was so sorry that she hurt. The nightmare that kept her safe and protected. The nightmare that was the one she trusted more than anyone in her life. The nightmare that treated her better than anyone had ever done. For her to say all of these wonderful things about me and actually do what she has done to me, there is something very very wrong. I am so lucky to be safe from her now. I feel so much better every single day. I now get to begin a new relationship with someone (and knowing all that I know now about abuse, I won't tolerate abuse anymore) I'm sure that new person is an amazing choice for me. And I am very very lucky and blessed.

The Kindness of Strangers

Here are some posts previously written...

Ok. So. At this point we're all aware that FiFi's heart got ripped out of her ass. If you are not, scroll down and read 'til you find it.

How low and disgusting is it to learn that people you met last week and strangers you met today give more of a flying fuck about you than the person you loved/wasted an entire year of your life with? Well, I'll tell you. It sucks balls.

At some point, you have to scrape your roadkill butt of the freeway, but 'til you can do it yourself... you must depend on ...yes you got it. THE KINDNESS OF STRANGERS.

My friends and family were amazing, and I don't want to negate them, but there are a couple peeps that deserve a special shout out.

The first is a gal I met less than a week before the breakup. She, like I, was under the pretense that we were all meeting up for some beer and relaxation. And that's what we had until my girlfriend (aka-the lying, cheating scumbag whore) walked in.

And after said whore did the unthinkable (well, now that I think about it, it's not that out of character for her), this gal came home with me and watched me drink, listened to me ramble and saw me cry for the next 24 hours. She was there for me in a way that I know I would be there for someone in my situation even if I didn't know them. A kindred spirit.

And while my girlfriend fucked Butterface McUgly (aka-paper bag head girl), she stood by me for Stage I of the process of losing the most toxic person in my life. She saw not love but addiction.

The next day she came aboard for Stage II. The tears had subsided somewhat, but I still rambled and asked WHY? every ten seconds. And that night is where I met Awesome Samaritan Numero Dos. Just a regular guy...at a regular trivia night...at a regular bar in the city. Perchance, he started out by hitting on me...that was 'til he found out I was a big 'ole hairy dyke suffering the loss of the aforementioned whore. He did not, however, execute the typical straight male bail tactic of a sick grandmother or bad nachos. He talked to me...steadily attempted to make my pathetic ass laugh and distracting me with a rousing game of beer pong (PS...still haven't lost my talent from my college days playing beer pong). When I was too tired to be convinced to stay, he put me in a cab and forced a $20 in my hand.

What can I say about both of these gems? Well...it looks like the beginning of two beautiful friendships!!

She Was Never Going To Change

Ok...so there is nothing better to get over the loss of a lying, cheating asshole than wonderful, beautiful pop music. Here are some of my favs that have been played continuously lately.

BLEEDING LOVE- Leona Lewis ***This is how I felt about my relationship when I was in it. And every single person I knew tried endlessly to get me out of it. Alas. We must learn for ourselves.

Closed off from love
I didn't need the pain
Once or twice was enough
And it was all in vain
Time starts to pass
Before you know would you frozen
But something happened
For the very first time with you
My heart melts into the ground
Found something true
And everyone is looking around
Thinking I am going crazy

But I do not care what they say
I am in love with you
They try to pull me away
But they don?t know the truth
My heart's crippled by the vain
That I keep on closing
You cut me open and I Keep bleeding
Keep, keep bleeding love
I keep bleeding
I keep, keep bleeding love
Keep bleeding Keep, keep bleeding love
You cut me open

Trying hard not to hear
But they talk so loud
Their piercing sounds fill my ears
Try to fill me with doubt
Yet I know that the goal Is to keep me from falling
But nothing's greater
Than the rush that comes with your embrace
And in this world of loneliness
I see your face
Yet everyone around me
Thinks that I'm going crazy, maybe, maybe

You cut me open And it's draining all of me
Oh they find it hard to believe
I'll be wearing these scars
For everyone to see

HOT N COLD - Katy Perry **I love this girl for her song "I Kissed A Girl" but this one, swear to God, without a doubt was written word for word about my ex.

You change your mind
Like a girl changes clothes
Yeah you, PMS
Like a bitch
I would know
And you over think
Always speak
CrypticlyI should know
That you're no good for me

{CHORUS}
Cause you're hot then you're cold
You're yes then you're no
You're in then you're out
You're up then you're down
You're wrong when it's right
It's black and it's white
We fight, we break up
We kiss, we make up
(you)You don't really want to stay, no
(but you)But you don't really want to go-o
You're hot then you're cold
You're yes then you're no
You're in and you're out
You're up and you're down

We used to be
Just like twinsSo in sync
The same energy
Now's a dead battery
Used to laugh bout nothing
Now your plain boring
I should know that
You're not gonna change

{CHORUS}
Someone call the doctor
Got a case of a love bi-polar
Stuck on a roller coaster
Can't get off this ride
You change your mind
Like a girl changes clothes

LITTLE BLACK SANDALS -Sia ***This is how I feel now. Better each day

I'm being dragged down, down by the hand
The hand of a golden giant man
He's crushing my knuckles
Splitting my skin, he says he'll let go
If only I’d ask it of him
He saysGirl, it's your call
You wanna fly
You wanna fall
So I shout
I wanna get away from you
As fast as I can
I tell my feet to move it
I hope they have a plan

These little black sandals
Are walking me away
These little black sandals
Are heading the right way
These little black sandals
Are walking me away
These little black sandals
Saved my life today

So now I'm free
Free
From the big bad giant
Who was stalking me
Thank you feet, for guiding me
I'm glad somehow
I got brains down there, at least

Sometimes I'm tempted
Sometimes I am
I would be lying if I said
I didn't miss that giant man
He was the line between pleasure and pain
But me and the feet have some years to reclaim

These little black sandals
Are walking me away
These little black sandals
Are heading the right way
These little black sandals
Are walking me away
These little black sandals
Saved my life today

Why Do All The Beautiful Ladies Always Take Me Outta My Way?

***My cab driver said. We were stuck in super duper traffic yesterday. He's a sweetheart, and I was not quite sure what to tell him when he asked me what his daughters should go to college for :-)

Soooo...Miss FiFi is maybe gonna take another week break. Miss FiFi is stuck in a tornado of craziness (All good craziness, minus the workload on my head from my extended vacay). I have lots to say, and an awesome weekend to tell you about.

I got everyone's emails and messages so I'll be getting 'round to those when I have a free second...which maybe won't be 'til next week :-(

I'll be back ASAP. Promise!

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

I will work on Part II soon...I promise.

In mid-July I went to a psychic with a friend. A really good one and a really $$$ one. I highly recommend her.

Anyway, my friend went first. The psychic told her lots of things ALL true. Here are just a few:
~She would be traveling.
~She sense a geographic distance or strain from her girlfriend.
~She saw NUMBERS NUMBERS NUMBERS--meaning rich...She's a Global Econ major...hmmm.

On my turn, I was terribly nervous. Here's what she told me...
~I have a kind loving heart, a heart that gives all of itself and is easily bruised and taken advantage of. That I need to take care of my heart. (Hmmm...obviously I didn't listen.)
~She said my desire to help people will lead me into philanthropy and non-profit work. (A week before she said this I decided I wanted to go for my masters in Non-profit Management.)
~She said I would be traveling...would experience a delay, but not to worry, everything would be fine. (That came true.)
~She told me that I wouldn't have to worry about money. That even though I tend to blow money...money would always be there. (So far so good)
~She told me that the relationship with my current partner would end withing the following three months. (Can you say last Friday?)
~She told me that my next partner was circling in my orbit already.--This means that I may have met her or will meet her soon. (Umm...well, me thinks she hath arrived.)

All this being said, I am throwing hope and expectation to the wind. I am trying to put Humpty Dumpty back together. That is what is important. Me. My friends and family. My wonderful, amazing, beautiful and kind friends and family. For the time being....FiFi will think about FiFi's needs and no one elses.

I don't actively seek religion anymore...it tends to find me.

"Love is patient and kind, it is never jealous, love is never boastful or conceited, it is never rude or selfish, it does not take offense, nor is it resentful. Love takes no pleasure in others’ sins but delights in the truth; it is always ready to excuse, to trust, to hope and to endure whatever comes. Love does not come to an end. There are three things that last, faith, hope and love and the greatest of these is love."

Fuck! I fell in love with a crazy person!

Monday~September 15~NOON~Mindfulness is never boring just nerve racking and sleep depriving. ~ This is a quote from the inside of the bathroom stall of a seedy downtown bar.

On Friday night, my heart was ripped through my chest and shoved up my ass.

Aha! She send a very dirty text message to this girl that she "DIDNT" sleep with?!?!?!

So, me being me, tried and tried to save her.

Too late.) So, the night was ruined, and later on back at the apartment, my ex changed into one of the other personalities and was trying to be sweet and sleep with me.

Somehow, I managed to pull myself together, find an apartment, and then tell her.

We met later for a play and she made a complete fool of me in front of her roommate.

Okok...I know you want more. Bbbuuutttt I need to stop for now. I am drained. Part #2 will be coming soon. YAY! for cliffhangers!!!

Tick Tick Tick Tick

QUEER AS FOLK is one of my f-a-v-o-r-i-t-e shows of all time. Sure the storylines may have wandered, and it may not have ended the way it should've, but goddammit, it was funny as hell and introduced me to gay life at its finest with Brian Kinney getting blown in the first 10 minutes. It certainly has changed my life. Here are some of my favorite lines. Allow me to let it change you... And I'm totally serious when I say this. If you haven't seen it, go rent it, and if I doesn't keep you glued to the tele for days until you watch all the episodes there is something wrong with you. I nearly dropped out of college to stay home and watch.

Brian: Well, if it isn't the widow Schmidt. Fire engine red must be the new black.

Brian: It's not lying if they make you lie. If the only truth they can accept is their own.

Brian: What are you doing?
Justin: Giving my friend Daphne a tour of your house.
Brian: This isn't the White House. George Washington hasn't slept here.
Justin: He's the only guy who hasn't.

Mysterious Marilyn: God writes the script, sweetie. I just say the lines.

Melanie: What are you? Mr. Teflon? Shit just never sticks to you.

Ted: [on dating a guy who's HIV positive] It's like playing with fire. I mean... what if a condom breaks? Or he's flossing his teeth and his gums bleed?
Brian: Or he shoots off his load and you're bending over to tie your shoe and it accidentally flies up your ass...

Debbie: Well, if it isn't the man behind the asshole.
Michael: Brian's always behind the asshole.

Melanie: There's no fucking way Brian Kinney's fucking sperm are doing the breaststroke in my fallopian tube.

Brian: I haven't had this much fun with a toy since my Erector Set!
Emmett: My parents couldn't afford an Erector Set. So I decided to play with the one God gave me.

Emmett: My intuition tells me things are not going to go well tonight.
Ted: Well, your intuition also told you Madonna was going to win an Oscar for "Evita."
Emmett: She *so* deserved it.

Monty: Which one of you is the gardener and which one's the chef?
Justin: I really like cooking.
Brian: And I love planting my seed in some hole... [everyone looks at him strangely]
Brian: ... in the ground.

Brian: Remember what I said to you last night?
Justin: Yes, I heard. You said you love me.
Brian: Then how about marrying me?
***ps...my heart stopped here when I heard this!

[after she's read Brian and Justin's wedding announcement]
Debbie: There's only one explanation - he must've knocked up Sunshine.

Ethan: Why do you have to be so antisocial?
Justin: I'm not antisocial. I just can't stand people.

Michael: You'll always be young. You'll always be beautiful. You're Brian Kinney, for fuck's sake!

Michael: If God wanted me on ice, he would have made me a vodka martini.

Melanie: [about Lindsay marrying Guillaume] What if he never leaves? What if he becomes a permanent fixture?
Brian: What if my aunt had balls? She'd be my uncle.

***FiFi wishes you the bestest weekend ever!***

the good. the bad. the FiFi...

You might be a loser if:

Something that really weirds me out is cyber trolls. You know who you are...you know what you do...if you don't, I can help you.

Some blatent signs that you have no life except for the one dimensional one that is your computer screen...

1. If you spend more time in front of your computer than with actual humans.

2. If your life revolves around emails, IM and your buddies.

3. If you have more friends online than you have in the outside world.

4. If your online friends like you better than the friends you have in the outside world.

5. If you eat, sleep, breathe the anticipation of finding the love of your life in some chat room.

In my personal opinion, online relationships are great. Keeping in touch with friends living far away...people that you share common interests...all this stuff is wonderful. It only turns scary when you are dependant on this fantasy life that you do not have.

I am afraid of you. You are lumped into the catagory of serial killers and pedophiles. You sit with your stained shirt, in your underwear drooling over the life you cannot have. You pray to the holy internet God that your love will love you back. They will not. Obviously, since this is the life you've chosen you have interpersonal malfunctions that render you incapable of a human relationship.

Unless I can have the tangible person...I don't want the relationship. If I can't touch you...see your eyes up close...smell you...what do you really have? In your eyes...you have the perfect relationship...I guess. Because online, you are who you want to be...you represent yourself the way you want. You decide. You create your persona. But the downturn comes when you meet in real life. If you have this extremely extensive online history with the person, it seems weird when you actually meet. Regardless of what you do, you are NOT the person you were through the computer. Your destiny: Disappointment. A life...a love...a true soul mate cannot be created from a machine. Personal interactions, tactile, energy exchanging attractions are mandatory.

I'm not a fan of the internet persay. 99.9% of the time I spend with my ass in front of a computer screen I'm getting paid a pretty penny to be there. After that, I'm out exploring, learning, finding things that bring me happiness. I feel truly sorry for those who are penned within their four walls. You need help. Get a fucking life!

***Retraction: I previously stated that you "might" be a loser if... I would like to replace that with: You are a fucking loser. Jesus! Get a life and save yourself while you can. I don't want to see you 30 years from now with gray hair and 50 cats.

Looky here

My sex toy has arrived. YAY! The g-spot thingy I told you about before. I'm looking forward to our first date. I also got this oil stuff that has pheromones. It's supposed to bring out something in you that attracts people to you. Hahaha! I think it's horse pee or something. That's all I have to say about that. Just wanted to give you the sex toy update I know you needed.

I'm sorry to disappoint my devoted followers...I'll try to do better.

Rain Date

If you live in NYC...you will know and understand why FiFi spent a large part of the weekend confined to zee apartment.

I almost don't want to bore you to death with the details...but I'm selfish so who cares about what you want or need...

On Friday night I desperately needed to do laundry. So I stayed home. While I did laundry I watched THE RING. I'm not sure but I'm pretty sure that because I haven't watched a scary movie in awhile I have lost my tolerace for gore and scary shit. Everytime I had to leave the apartment to get the clothes I was terrified that the scary girl was going to get me. I made it through the movie alive. And watched several scenes with my hands covering my face. If you know me you're probably saying..."No she didn't!!" Yes...I did. Now I just have to wait for 7 days. The only excitement I had...Two BBQs. The first on Saturday. I got there just before the downpour...and thankfully was able to spend the entire time in the kitchen or outside under a tarp. Ohhh Lordy did the kitties and doggies fall. However, the food was a-m-a-z-i-n-g! My friend should give up hope of being a social worker and become the female Wolfgang Puck. The food is the only thing that kept me sane while I trudged to the subway later. Ugggh! I will just say that FiFi strongly resembled/could've been mistaken for a drowned rat.

Needless to say, when I got the call later that my Saturday evening plans were cancelled because of those damn kitties and doggies, I was more than ecstatic to stay at home and have a wonderful date with Netflix. Oh, we had a lovely time!

Okay, Sunday, the most exciting!!! I woke up and cleaned my entire apartment from top to bottom...I even cleaned the inside of the fridge. Yayayay! Three cheers for FiFi. I loathe cleaning. And in six months you'll be cheering again. Cuz I don't believe I'll clean again any time soon. Then I went to another BBQ. This one was dry...and the food was dry too....and I had to wait five years for a hot dog....which was nasty...and they had NO mustard...so I had to eat it plain...but I won't whine about it. I had good conversation and a few good beers...which got me quickly buzzed because I'd only eaten a bowl of Cheerios and a grody hot dog for the day.

Ahh...well...there is my fun filled weekend. I know you're just soooo jealous. Too bad you can't be me.

Driving Miss FiFi

Ok. So, I've had an evening to reflect on yesterday's events and decided that my lovely readers need not travel down my road of self loathing and degradation. You do not come here to see Miss FiFi's defeatist attitide.

Yesterday was nothing that a good visit from Mr. Johnny Walker couldn't cure. NO! I wasn't drinking alone! How dare you assume!? The hard truth is that sometimes I listen to plastic people. People for whom three millimeters is a tad too deep. People with a persona the size of my pinky toenail. And I have a teeny weeny pinky toenail. I'm not trying to insult the insulter. But, truthfully, she should be able to take what she gives.

"Perception is reality" is a gray area. Another person's perception is not MY reality. And this is the plateau where I, without fail, trip and fall flat on my ass.

This is why I work on myself. So that one day, when the hologram before me takes it upon herself to impose her reality on me...I won't take up residence in that narrow view. Instead, I will slug her in the face...errr...I mean...I will say "Sticks and stones may break my bones but words can never hurt me"...errr...I mean...I will see through her, smile at the childish ignorance and move on.

Le FiFi wishes you a verry merry fin de semana with some pretty words from Incubus (BFF--I know you will like this) Adieu!

Sometimes, I feel the fear of uncertainty stinging clear
And I can't help but ask myself how much I let the fear
Take the wheel and steer Istinctively before
And it seems to have a vague, haunting mass appeal
But lately I'm beginning to find that I
Should be the one behind the wheel
Whatever tomorrow brings, I'll be there
With open arms and open eyes yeah
Whatever tomorrow brings, I'll be there
I'll be there
So if I decide to waiver my chance to be one of the hive
Will I choose water over wine and hold my own and drive?
Istinctively before
And it seems to be the way that everyone else gets around
But lately I'm beginning to find that
When I drive myself my light is found
Whatever tomorrow brings, I'll be there
With open arms and open eyes yeah
Whatever tomorrow brings, I'll be there
I'll be there
Would you choose the water over wine
Hold the wheel and drive

Nada...Later

I can't breathe today...let alone talk. Let's just say that there are things that I want to say, but I have no words today. I will try to write them down later when I am alone and can cry in peace. Because, oh yes, there will be crying.

It's just a shame that someone who plays a desperately insignificant role in my life could make such a significant dent in my armor. Tragically, it seems, one person who knows me the least could propose something about my being, and painful as it is, I find it a hard truth. Well, she had nothing to lose with those words.

Ok...So I'm Gonna "Borrow" From Elizabeth Wurtzel For This One...

Every month, usually at the same time, I get hit by a black wave. This basically means that FiFi goes into a state of not-so-happiness for no reason whatsoever. You're right...the street name is PMS. I'm PMSing. You're saying to yourself: "FiFi, c'mon, you're a big girl! This happens to everybody. Why do you think you're so special?"

And to that I can only say this is the FiFi blog...so it's all about FiFi and what FiFi wants to talk about. So there. If you want to bitch about how you go through the same thing...start your own blog.

Yeah...I'm sorry...the black wave comes with anger as a side dish.

Anyway, my black wave consists of feeling ugly, sad, unloved, alone, afraid...etc etc. I feel like I have no friends...which is not the case...I hope. I feel like my significant other doesn't love me or want me...which is not the case...I hope. And as you can see, I am filled with those damn second guessing thoughts. If I was the type to be concerned about my job, I would worry about that too. Luckily, I'm not. I want to cry for no reason. I cry for no reason about non-existent issues. Usually, I blow something out of proportion and start a fight with someone. Usually my significant other suffers the most.

It's an uncontrollable reaction. I feel like I have to pour out all my emotions onto everyone so that they can reassure me that FiFi is the cheese...and not a loser. So...yes...I have mental issues. And I can assure you that everyone else does too. Including you. Yes, YOU!

Some of you who know me may say that it happens a little more often than once a month. To that I say, there has been something that has happened that put me in that mood, and maybe you should keep those meany opinions to yourselves. Geesh! What I'm talking about here is caused by something completely unknown.

If you have any advice on how I can keep my business to myself and take care of my own self drop me a line. Otherwise, I will keep trying to figure it out on my own.

***PS...I know how to take care of it...it just requires a loooootttt of work, self control and self love....which is mucho hard for me.

Now, we can say it all together now, nice and loud---"POOR FIFI! It'll be okay."

Where to begin...where to begin.

Let's just say I had tooooo much excitement this weekend...and by excitement I mean I am sunburnt so badly I can hardly move. So the pain that is throbbing in my arms and legs is making it extremely hard for me to think at all, I will now attempt to amuse you with what small amount of wit I have left. I think my cells that carried all my wit have burned off.

Sex Toy Extravaganza

The weekend started off with a blast. And by blast I meant a vibrating sex toy blast. I went to a spa party Friday evening (which was desperately needed). It was super duper fun. I got a mani...a foot revitalizer...and a massage by Carol (an itsy bitsy Chinese lady with the strength of Hercules plus the Hulk). Can you say YAY? I felt so pretty. I highly recommend attending these if you're invited...because it's fabuloso to spa it up and it's even more fabuloso to get hammered on Cosmos while you're getting spa'ed up. So, you're probably still wondering about those sex toys. Well, this is the sort of spa that doubles as a bar/sex toy party (get your groove on and order up a ton of vibrating goodness). Which I did. I'm not sure if I should share, but when in doubt, always share is my motto. I ordered a G-SPOT stimulator...aka DA BOMB. So basically, it's a gigantic thumb with another thingy that gets you, well, you know where. I'm very excited for it to be delivered.

***ATTN LADIES: Me thinks I will be having a little partay of my own soon...heeheeheehee.

No Me Gusta Sunburn...Quiero Morir

That translates to--- I fucking can't believe I got sunburn. I am in so much pain. I am an idiot. I am a white idiot who didn't use SPF 130 and now my skin feels like it's on fire. I WANT TO DIE!!!!

Well, that's sorta the translation. You get the idea. I'm gonna fast forward through to the end of my holiday weekend. Yesterday. There was fun stuff in between (but not as fun as sex toys and sunburn), however, my burnt cells are sizzling so I will pass out soon I'm sure.

So, I went kayaking yesterday. You are probably saying, "FiFi, you are too pretty and delicate to kayak." I assure you I'm not. This was my first time...and with the sunburn...'tis more painful than that other first time (you know what I mean). I did amazingly. Probably the best first time kayaker on the block. So, but anyway, I did get a wee bit of sunburn (and by wee bit I mean my entire arms, legs and neck...oh and even my ears). This makes me sad. It does seem probable that after 5 hours on the water this might happen. Why didn't I plan ahead? Because I'm not too good of a plan aheader. And I usually just assume that I'm invinceable. So, obviously the sun is my kryptonite. ...And even after aloeing my ass up and down (looking like a shiny wax person) I still feel the severe severe pain. Stinging...stabbing...pricking...burning pain. But don't worry, the Fif-meister will survive. I'm sure I've been in worse pain than this...I just can't remember when. So my braincells are officially fried so I'm shutting down. 'Til manana.
